NICU Director- Austin, TX
Location : Austin, TX
Project Duration : Full time permanent role
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or other approved education plan required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- L&D: NRP preferred/ FHM preferred/ RNC-OB preferred
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare required
- 1+ year of experience in leadership role required
- Number of beds: 99 oversight
- Level 3 NICU
- FTE (total in unit/ direct): 150 with 2 Managers
- Types of patients (adult/peds): Peds
- Current Nurse to nurse-to-patient ratio: 2 or 3 to 1 patient
- Unit volume-: daily census 75
- Shift- specify your expectations on hours: M-F, standard leadership shift
- Staff shifts: 12-hour shifts
- Call required: (Y/N) rotates call with 2 managers
- Bonus eligible
- Relocation eligible
