We have Contract role Mammography / Radiology Technologist for our client at King City, CA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Mammography / Radiology Technologist- King City, CA
Location                            : King City, CA 93930
Project Duration          : 13 weeks
Pay range                        : $55-$60/Hr on W2
Shift Timing                    : 4/10's - Shift Variable
 
Job Summary
This role is responsible for performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups. The technologist will collaborate closely with radiologists and other imaging professionals to ensure accurate imaging, efficient workflow, and an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Ensure proper positioning, image quality, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles
• Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalities
• Track and retrieve prior mammography images for comparison and interpretation
• Provide patient education on breast health and self-examination
• Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation
• Advocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delays
• Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach and mammography service promotion
• Support Bone Density exams and assist with CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy/OR procedures as needed
• Take call as assigned and perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License
• Active California Mammographic Technologist License
• Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
• California Venipuncture Certificate (required within 3 months of hire)
• Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience
