Location                               : Atlanta, GA 30303
Project Duration              : 13+ Weeks of contract
Pay Rate                               : $55 - $60 an hour on W2
Shift                                       : Friday – Sunday (7pm – 7:30am)
 

• Job Title: CT Technologist (Allied Health)
• Department: CT
• Location: Atlanta, Georgia
• Schedule: Night shift, Weekend coverage (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Duration: 13 weeks (Mid-September to Mid-December)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Type: Travel assignment

 
Overview:
Seeking skilled CT Technologists to join a dynamic team providing diagnostic imaging services in a busy hospital setting. Technologists will operate CT scanners, assist with patient care, and collaborate with the care team to support timely and effective imaging services during the weekend night shifts.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CT scanners according to safety and quality standards.
• Perform CT imaging procedures, positioning patients as needed.
• Administer contrast agents when required and monitor patients during scans.
• Collaborate with team members, ensuring effective coverage with multiple technologists assigned to different scanners and control rooms.
• Provide support to emergency department imaging needs as required.
• Maintain clear communication with the imaging team and other clinical staff.
• Adhere to established infection control and radiation safety protocols.

 
Work Environment:

• Coverage primarily on weekends—Friday through Sunday nights.
• Typically, 4-6 technologists on shift to manage scanner operation and control room duties.
• Fast-paced environment requiring teamwork and flexibility.

 
Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a CT Technologist appropriate for facility requirements.
• Proven experience operating CT equipment in a clinical environment.
• Ability to work scheduled nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and imaging software preferred.
