Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled NICU / Nursery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to newborns, including premature and critically ill infants. The ideal candidate will have experience in both NICU and newborn nursery settings, with the ability to deliver high-quality, family-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to neonates in the NICU and nursery
- Monitor vital signs and assess the condition of newborns, including premature and high-risk infants
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and specialized treatments as required
- Assist with neonatal resuscitation and emergency interventions
- Support feeding plans, including breastfeeding education and assistance
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate and support families regarding newborn care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of NICU and/or Nursery experience
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
