Job description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate must be currently working in an ICU setting and demonstrate strong clinical skills in critical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Must be a current ICU nurse with recent experience
- Active RN license (state-specific as applicable)
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) units as needed
- Experience with Meditech 6.0 EMR preferred
