Project Duration          : 13 weeks
Shift Timing                    : Days-8:00 am -4:30pm
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our comprehensive Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Our Cath Lab supports Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon, providing a full spectrum of cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional services.
The Cath Lab RN will play a critical role in patient care, procedural support, and hemodynamic monitoring while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient-centered care.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Monitor patients intra-procedurally using advanced hemodynamic and imaging systems
• Operate and assist with Cath Lab equipment, including:
• Philips Laser System
• IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound)
• OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
• Coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices
• Assist physicians during procedures and respond promptly to patient condition changes
• Rotate through pre-procedure and post-procedure recovery areas as needed
• Transport patients safely to and from procedure areas
• Participate in on-call rotation for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Maintain accurate documentation using McKesson systems:
• McKesson CPACS
• McKesson Cardiology
• McKesson Hemodynamic System
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with additional duties as assigned to support Cath Lab operations

 
Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of Oklahoma or compact license)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab or critical care experience
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures
• ACLS required; BLS required (PALS preferred if applicable)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
