Position Details:
MRI Technologist- Cleveland, OH
Location                            : Cleveland, OH 44109
Project Duration           : 13 weeks
Shift                                    : Four days - Monday-Thursday; Noon-10:30p with rotating holidays
 
Job Description:
Job Summary
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment. This role is responsible for ensuring patient safety, producing diagnostic images, and assisting radiologists while maintaining strict adherence to established protocols and hospital standards.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures, including screening for contraindications.
• Operate MRI equipment efficiently and maintain image quality to support accurate diagnosis.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical staff in a trauma setting.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines.
• Assist with patient transfers and positioning as needed.

 
Mandatory Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience performing MRI imaging procedures.
• ARRT Certification (Radiography)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• ARRT MRI Registered

 
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull equipment or patients weighing over 50 pounds as needed.
• May work in high-acuity situations requiring quick decision-making and teamwork.
