Respiratory Therapist- Sitka, AK
Location : Sitka, AK 99835

Major Responsibilities
- Administer and evaluate respiratory therapy treatments for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Perform extubations, airway management, and ventilatory life support.
- Conduct and interpret pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gases.
- Educate patients on respiratory equipment and wellness practices.
- Maintain and clean respiratory therapy equipment.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED + completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- NBRC credential: Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- BLS required; ACLS & PALS within 3 months of hire.
- Clinical and High-Risk Competency within 3 months.
- 2+ years of experience preferred.
