We have Contract role Radiology Tech for our client at Glenwood Springs, CO. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Radiology Tech- Glenwood Springs, CO
Location                           : Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Duration                          : 13 weeks
Pay Rate                           : $50/hr-$55/hr
Shift                                    :  4-10 hours day shift, varied days. Rotate weekends and call required. 
 
Job Description:
The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other imaging studies, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to patient care, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays (and other modalities as applicable).
• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate, high-quality images.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care.
• Adhere to infection control, privacy (HIPAA), and workplace safety policies.

 
Requirements :

• ARRT(R) : 1 year of current experience performing Radiographic procedures is required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Must be able to do fluoro, OR, procedures and x-ray.
