Position Details:
MRI Technologist- Wichita, KS
Location                            : 550 N Hillside, Wichita, KS 67214
Shift Timing                    : Evenings – Rotating Weekends, 11:00 am - 9:30 pm OR 12:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Project Duration           : Fulltime / Permanent job + Offering excellent benefits
Shift Differential: $3/Hour for Evenings & $4.50/Hour for Weekends 
Sign-On Bonus: $30,000
Relocation Assistance: Case by case
Job Summary:

Job responsibilities :

• You will use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures
• You will maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures
• Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of population served, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while providing care/service with respect to cultural differences and spiritual needs
• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed Performs procedures and assesses patients throughout and responds to patient needs as appropriate
• Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed
• Performs all computer and PACS functions Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff
• Demonstrates knowledge of Universal protocols
• Uses professional judgment and critical thinking when performing procedures
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures
• Performs all other duties as assigned

 
Job qualifications:

• Currently registered as an MRI Technologist, or will obtain MRI registry within six months of hire date
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy
• CurrentregistrybytheAmericanRegistryofRadiologicTechnologists
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
• Will accept ARRT or ARMRIT Certification
