Shift : 05:00am- 05:00pm
Position Summary:
The RN – Labor and Delivery unit provides care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The nurse is responsible for monitoring the health of both mother and baby, assisting physicians during delivery, and providing postpartum care and education to patients and families.

Position Summary:
The RN – Labor and Delivery unit provides care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The nurse is responsible for monitoring the health of both mother and baby, assisting physicians during delivery, and providing postpartum care and education to patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and respond to complications.
- Assist physicians and medical staff during vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Administer medications and IV treatments as required.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and new born care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Active RN license.
- Labor and Delivery, postpartum, and circulation experience required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required.
- NICU experience is a plus.
- Additional experience preferred in scrubbing in for C-sections, NICU, or pediatrics.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
