Position Details:
Radiologic/CT Technologist- Havre, MT
Location                            : Havre, MT 59501
Project Duration          : 13 weeks
Shift Timing                    : Night Shift
 
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director, the Radiologic/CT Technologist performs radiographic and CT procedures at a professional level, utilizing independent judgment, technical skill, and clinical initiative. This role involves applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality imaging outcomes. The technologist also assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures within the department as needed.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiographic and CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, ensuring proper technique, exposure, and positioning.
• Utilize independent judgment and technical expertise to adapt procedures to meet patient needs and clinical requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and imaging reports.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, radiation protection practices, and infection control standards.
• Provide compassionate patient care, including preparation, education, and monitoring throughout the imaging process.
• Assist with workflow efficiency, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support high-quality diagnostic services.

 
Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (Radiography required; CT certification preferred or required depending on facility need).
• State of Montana Radiologic Technologist License, and licensure through the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists (required).
• Knowledge and experience relevant to the age groups of the patients served.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and commitment to patient-centered care.
