Project Duration   : 13 Weeks
Shift                             : 07: 00 pm-07:00 am
 
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical provides direct patient care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and compassionate care.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
• Provide wound care and post-operative care.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Promote patient safety and infection control practices.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and nursing assistants as appropriate.

 
Qualifications:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred (new graduates may be considered).
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
