Location                             : Rangely, CO 81648
Duration                            : 13 Weeks Contract
Salary Range                    : $50- $51/hr
Shift Timing                     : 7 pm - 7 am/ Night shift
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the Night Shift in the Emergency Room (ER) and Swing Bed unit. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, managing acute and transitional care patients while ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department and Swing Bed unit in accordance with established nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Triage patients effectively and respond to emergency situations with sound clinical judgment.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide care for Swing Bed patients requiring skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or transitional care services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.

 
Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State-specific or Compact License, if applicable).
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Emergency Room (ER) or critical care setting.
• Experience with Swing Bed, Med-Surg, or transitional care preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred.
