We have Contract role RN Emergency Room for our client at Scottsbluff, NE. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
Position Details:
RN- Emergency Room- Scottsbluff NE
Location : Scottsbluff NE 69361
Project Duration : 13 weeks
Pay range : $54-$57 an hour
Shift : 3 12 hour shifts - must be able to work nights/days/weekends/holidays as needed to fill our open shifts
Job description:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides immediate nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ER RN is responsible for triage, rapid assessment, stabilization, and coordination of emergency treatment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform rapid triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients with emergent medical conditions
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments
• Assist with trauma care, resuscitation, and emergency procedures
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses to interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, EMS staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with emergency protocols, infection control, and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
Required Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Certifications:
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
