Location                             : Lawton, OK 73505
Duration                            : 13 weeks /3 months
Salary Range                    : $45 -$47/ hourly on W2
Shift Timing                     : 7p-7a | Nights
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Rehabilitation team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or other medical conditions requiring rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient recovery, maximize independence, and improve overall quality of life.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, rehabilitation goals, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with infection control and quality standards.
• Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and promoting independence in daily activities.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.

 
Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Previous rehabilitation, medical-surgical, or acute care experience preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification preferred (if applicable).
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience caring for patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, or traumatic injuries.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation nursing principles and patient-centered care practices.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems.
