We have Contract role RN-ICU/PCU for our client at Scottsbluff, NE. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
RN-ICU/PCU- Scottsbluff, NE
Location                            : Scottsbluff, NE 69361
Project Duration           : 13 weeks
Shift Timing                    : 3 X12 hour shifts needed - It is both a day and night opening
 
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and/or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill and high-acuity patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and step-down patients in ICU/PCU settings
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products safely and accurately
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and other life-support systems
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in code blue events
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards

 
Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU and/or PCU experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
