Position Details:
CNA- Baker, MT
Location                           : Baker, MT 59313
Duration                          : 13 weeks
Shift                                   :  (3) 6pm-6am Shifts per week
 
Job Description:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CNA assists patients with daily living activities, ensures comfort and safety, and supports the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Help patients with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Assist with turning and positioning patients to prevent pressure injuries
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times
• Document care provided according to facility policies
• Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals as needed

 
Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Current CNA certification in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
