Position Details:
CT/X-Ray Technologist- Scottsbluff, NE
Location : Scottsbluff, NE 69361
Project Duration : 13 Weeks Contract
Salary Range : $55/hr - $60/hr
Shift : Varied Shift 4x10
Job Summary:
The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures including Computed Tomography (CT) scans and general radiographic X-rays to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with radiation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray procedures per physician orders
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor for reactions
• Operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy before submission to radiologists
• Maintain radiation safety standards and follow ALARA principles
• Document patient imaging records accurately in EMR/PACS systems
• Perform equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
Required Qualifications:
• ARRT certificate in CT required
• ARRT certificate in radiography required
• Medical radiographer license in Nebraska required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1–2 years of CT and X-ray experience required
• Experience in hospital, trauma, or emergency settings
• IV contrast administration experience preferred
