Radiology Tech/CT Tech- Lincoln ME
Location : Lincoln ME 04457
Project Duration : 13 Weeks
Pay : $65/hr - $70/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist / CT Technologist to join our Client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and Computed Tomography (CT) scans, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and CT scans.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
• Operate and maintain radiologic and CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection guidelines and protocols.
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting them to radiologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
Requirements:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• CT certification preferred or required depending on facility.
• Active state license if required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging procedures and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in hospital or clinical radiology settings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with advanced CT imaging techniques.
