Duration : 9 Weeks Contract
Salary Range : $45-$50/hr
Shift Timing : Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30 pm
Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound (sonography) procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to established protocols while providing compassionate patient care.

Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound (sonography) procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to established protocols while providing compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (e.g., abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts)
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality
- Analyze images and ensure they meet diagnostic standards
- Document findings and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist physicians with image-guided procedures when required
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Educate patients on procedures and address concerns
- Perform routine equipment checks and report issues
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Certifications (based on specialty):
- RDMS (Abdomen – AB)
- RDMS (OB/GYN)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through ARDMS (or equivalent)
