Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit-Atlanta GA
Location                            : Atlanta, Georgia, 30303
Project Duration          : 8 weeks
Shift Timing                    : Day
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) with a strong neuro-critical care background. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients, with an emphasis on neurological assessments, monitoring, and interventions.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU/IMCU patients
• Perform advanced neurological assessments and continuous patient monitoring
• Manage ventilated patients, invasive lines, and complex medical equipment
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes
• Respond effectively to emergencies and rapid changes in patient condition
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

 
Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or IMCU experience in the specialty
• Strong Neuro ICU experience clearly demonstrated on the profile
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in neurological monitoring and critical care equipment
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
