We have Permanent role Speech Language Pathologist for our client at Mauston, WI. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Speech Language Pathologist- Mauston, WI
Location                            : Mauston, WI 53948
Duration                           : Direct Placement/Full Time
 
Major Responsibilities
 

• Perform direct patient care: assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Complete patient documentation, including initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge reports.
• Contact insurance companies regarding benefits.
• Prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions.
• Provide education to staff, including nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service workers, regarding results and recommendations following evaluations and providing guidance based on the most up-to-date research.
• Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers in order to provide patient-centered treatment.
• Clean treatment rooms following sessions.
• Provide reminder calls to patients. Aid patients and families in navigating the hospital.
• Must maintain a valid, current driver's license. Must maintain BLS certification.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Intermediate proficiency with computers is required.
• Strong assessment and planning skills. Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  
  Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):

Education:

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
• Wisconsin SLP license (or eligibility)
• BLS certification and valid driver’s license
• 1+ years of experience preferred (hospital setting a plus)
