Position Details:
Sterile Processing Technician (Allied)- Burlington, MA
Location                            : Burlington, MA, 01805
Project Duration           : 13 Weeks
Shift Timing                    : Mon – Day (02:30 PM – 11:00 PM) Evening
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in central processing (CPD) and possess strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and sterile processing department (SPD) protocols. This role plays a vital part in maintaining patient safety and ensuring the surgical team has access to sterile equipment and instruments.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all equipment and tools are properly processed and meet regulatory standards.
• Operate sterilization equipment and monitor cycles to ensure effectiveness.
• Maintain inventory and ensure availability of sterile supplies.
• Follow proper infection control practices and safety protocols.

 
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing/central processing department (CPD).
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Certification in Sterile Processing required.
• Strong knowledge of sterilization and SPD procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 
Requirements:

• COVID-19 vaccination, including booster, is required at the time of submission.
• 2024-2025 flu vaccination is required (declinations not accepted). If not current, an attestation of commitment to receive it before start will be accepted.
• BILH Coversheet required at submission.
• Candidate must not have worked in any Beth Israel facility (permanent or travel) within the past 6 months.
• Local candidates are not accepted.
