LPN- Cleveland, OH
Location : Cleveland, OH 44113
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 72 hours bi-weekly Day shift: 6:45 am-7:15 pm
Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to assigned inmates/patients—ranging from adolescent through adult—in a high-volume. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician, the LPN delivers safe, effective, and compassionate nursing services in accordance with the Ohio LPN scope of practice.
The LPN upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of the client System while contributing to a secure, respectful, and patient-focused correctional care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibilities for direct nursing care of assigned inmates/patients, adolescent through adult, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician in a correctional facility. May house 1,300-2,000 inmates/patients.
- Provides nursing services to patients in accordance with the scope of the Licensed Practical Nurse license. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards
Mandatory qualifications: - Licence Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association only
Requirements :
- Licence Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association only
- One year of clinical experience in nursing.
- Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Licenses Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio ONLY
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association ONLY
