Location                           : Zanesville OH 43701
Project Duration          : 13 weeks
Pay range                        : $32-$35 an hour
Shift                                   : Days 7a - 7:30p / weekends
 
Job description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care within a telemetry-focused unit while supporting various medical-surgical specialty areas as needed. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to interpret cardiac telemetry, and flexibility to float across multiple units. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in telemetry and medical-surgical settings
• Continuously monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry data
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Float to various specialty units (e.g., wound care, stroke, oncology, respiratory, observation) as required
• Maintain patient safety and respond effectively to changes in patient condition
• Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and recovery

Qualifications & Crtiications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in telemetry and/or step-down units
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac telemetry interpretation

Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong proficiency in EMR documentation and workflow management
