We have Contract role Long-Term Care Registered Nurse for our client at New Lisbon, WI. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
Position Details:
Long-Term Care Registered Nurse- New Lisbon, WI
Location : New Lisbon, WI 53950
Project Duration : 12 weeks
Shift : Full Time mix shift of PM and Day shift: 7-Day shifts (6am-2pm) 3-PM shifts (2pm-10pm) Every other weekend - day shift (6am-2pm)
Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Nursing Home Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.
Essential Job Duties:
• Timely communication to physicians, families, etc. of significant changes in resident condition.
• Complete all applicable resident assessments.
• Complete medication administration while following the 5 Rights.
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed.
• Assist CNAs with answering call lights.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Act as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect or misappropriation to Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting.
• Perform other duties as requested.
Required Qualifications:
• Required qualifications to effectively perform job.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree in nursing preferred.
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
