Quality Assurance Analyst-Remote-Delaware OH
Location                            : Delaware, OH (100% Remote)
Project Duration            : Permanent / Fulltime
 
Description:
The fitting candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our eCommerce platform, identifying & documenting issues, bringing test effectiveness, defining detailed use-cases and test processes, and deriving traceability analysis of test artifacts to system requirements. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for the verification and validation of new features, functionalities, and enhancements for our e-commerce website. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of e-commerce testing, including functional, usability, and performance testing.
 
Position Summary:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of our eCommerce platform, and backend systems, to ensure that they meet the highest quality standards
• Develop and execute test plans and cases and perform manual and automated testing
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using JIRAs, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including eCommerce dev. team, Product Owner, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the eCommerce development lifecycle by creating detailed documentation
• Participate in requirement gathering and review sessions to provide input on testability and quality aspects of the projects
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in eCommerce and QA, and proactively apply them to enhance our testing processes
• Participate in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes and Scrum cycles
• Lead/Facilitate sessions on clearing blockers and leading the test progress, including but not limited to, test environment readiness, scoping open-source automation tools, preparing test harnesses for API, Web Services, XML testing and assisting team in project planning & estimation models

 
Required Qualification:

• 6-8 Year of experience in developing test plan and execution
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Hands-on e-Commerce domain knowledge and experience
• Deep understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Prepare monthly QA status reports. Participate in customer and regulatory agency audits.
• Train internal personnel in QA program requirements.
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral and
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, payment gateways, and shopping cart systems.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with automation tools such as Selenium and web debugging tools
• Deep understanding of tracking and reporting metrics such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar
• Specializes in site analytics, application performance monitoring and backend business rules validations. Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering or related field
